When MD from Vancouver hits the stage she does at least three things at same time: she sings, plays guitar and smiles; her mouth often looks like a halfmoon lying on the back and her music sounds just as positive as she comes across. Settled between folk and rock she adds a countryish flavour giving her music a certain kind of relaxation or ease. She belongs to the big ones in her home country and also here in Germany. She has collected a real no. of fans. At the Castaneda she played for the second time..The band was joined that night by German S. Rapp who played with her night before. The crowd loved this and the band held an audience of 140 people with their rock-folkish sound and close-to-life-lyrics...For the 2nd time Castaneda became a pole in her tour and not for the last time. Man, that place was packed! But there was a real exchange of energy between stage and audience and it simply didn't matter if someone stood on your feet all the time ;-)
"I lie" was amazing in this atmosphere.
