Fun stroll through and to Hildesheim from our hotel (well known to me from playing here at Jazz Fest and a few other times!) ; We find a lunch stop that serves schnapps in beautiful upside down vases - vom bass. I like 'raspberry'. It's a more than out sold venue and it feels like a perfect ending to a great tour; our Russian technician is 'cool' in every way; and it's a good show where I take extra musical liberties and we get extra musicians on stage too: Thomas Fuchs and Carsten Lips (what a last name!). Thanks to all those there, especially Sussane :) We rocked the bar at the hotel and Allan in particular rose to the occasion by singing songs with my guitar (yes, I have this on video for a small price!). Sunday morning I pulled out a Hacky Sack and it turns out two of us can also juggle quite well too (no, not me!). We slowly drove to hannover; and wow! More snow! A sauna was perfect, the mood easy with smiles all around. Prepared our luggage to be as light as possible. Of special note: Allan has managed to fit his bass into his suitcase (to avoid the 2nd bag $100 fee), and David acoustic folds in half and neatly tucks into a back pack. My banjo's got to travel on my knee, just about the way it ought to be.
